Today is the start of a couple of days off from therapy – a spring break – an internal break.

I don’t think I have ever felt so great about a break as I do right now!

I asked my therapist in session – “what would you want to see for me going into the 3 day break” .. he said to me “to breathe, be, trust me and the process, stay connected, and find YOU back that you lost in the hard month you had”.

I can do that.. I feel good about that, I feel confident about that. I don’t think I have ever left feeling as lifted as I have in months!

I am taking this break to learn about the strength I gathered along the way in the past month or so. I am taking this break from therapy on this spring break to find my soul, reach in, and talk to it. I am taking this break to cleanse my body, refresh my connection, and to find peace in my soul.

I plan to write, I plan to connect, I plan to start working out by doing cross-fit training. I plan to run, I plan to eat healthier to cleanse my body out! I plan to take time to breathe and be. I plan to spend time with my boys.

I am doing something new this year, on EASTER instead of staying home, eating a big dinner, we plan to take a ride to the mountains and go hiking, and take photos – maybe stop at a restaurant along the way and eat a dinner.

I know one thing, I will not be home sitting on this holiday – I will be out there finding ways to refresh my soul, so that I can go back out there and find a new perspective going back into therapy next week.

Today’s session was about re-trusting, re-learning, and finding the ultimate connection in the 5 years I have been working on me.

I plan to have a wonderful break away from it all – and then I will meet my healing again on the other side – this time with more grace, trust and connection than before.

check back for my daily blogs – I am sure I will have a lot of great things to write about!

Please take a moment to comment! I love connecting with others!
