The Beach

1014037_610452282329089_434511983_nWe arrived at the beach Thursday and I cannot tell you how happy I am to be here! The ocean is nothing short of grace and serenity!

This photo to the left is our view from the condo balcony! It’s breathtaking to say the least! The view in the morning when I woke up this morning before everyone else was amazing!

We have been making breakfast in the mornings and then hitting the beach during the day.

I am feeling pretty connected. My therapist and I talked on the phone the past couple of days, and plan to stay connected throughout the weekend even though I am only at the beach for a couple of days till Sunday.

I have always suffered from severe home-sickness when I am away from my element and routine. I think it stems from my childhood of being left behind and my mom would drop me and my sister off at the babysitters for days on end and I developed this fear of leaving my surroundings.

I have carried that into my adulthood and sometimes it gets bad! If I am away from my home or routine for too long, I start getting very homesick, so it’s nice to chat with my support and have all my friends here to talk to when I need it.

I am only 6 hours away from home and it’s only until Sunday, but something about being out of routine is just hard for me and takes a little getting used to. I am sure that will fade pretty quick when I am out on the beach tomorrow enjoying the sun and relaxing my mind, body and soul.

Today we have a full day planned. We are heading to the beach all day and then taking a drive along 30A and seeing some of the beautiful beaches and taking photos. I am doing a photoshoot of my boys on the beach.

Tonight we will play games and have fun hanging out as this is our last night here.. but have all day today and all day tomorrow.

This was a beach trip truly needed! and it’s so nice to be with all my boys at the same time.

I posted some photos and plan to add to the album.
