five minute friday {encouragement}

encouragement-stonesWelcome to five minute Friday to where us bloggers are given a word prompt and write for just 5 minutes simply for the joy of writing.

No editing or backtracking. No need to be perfect. Just words freely flowing from my heart to yours.

Today’s Five minute Friday word is {encouragement}

{Start}

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope: Romans 15:4

This is the verse that I think of when I hear or see the word encouragement.

I am encouraged every day, and I write to others to encourage. My healing is about encouragement, my path to healing is about finding more encouragement, and I also get the drive of encouragement from the wonderful support around me.

I think what helps me to move through this healing is the encouragement I get from God, from family, friends, my wonderful support system in therapy. I am surrounded by goodness, grace and encouragement.

I love writing in this blog, because I love to use my healing to help others. I love to encourage other people to take the same healing path as me, because I know what it has done for me. I love connecting with others who share the same story as me; others who have walked the same path as me finding healing on the other side of pain.

I love that today’s word for five minute friday is encouragement, and I encourage you to sit for a moment and look around at what encourages you.. and or who can you encourage today and make a difference.

  1. Karen Beth this is beautiful. Isn’t it amazing the difference an encouraging word can make to our day or how we can impact others by encouraging them. I agree with you that our journeys to healing are lined with encouragement.

    Thank you for sharing this encouraging post.

  2. Beautiful!

    Thanks, I will be thinking about encouragement and how to give to others so they feel encouraged or that they find their source of encouragement.

Please take a moment to comment! I love connecting with others!
